We offer free standard shipping on all Litter-Robot orders to France, United Kingdom, Belgium, and Switzerland. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and shipped from our European fulfilment centre.

Returns & Refunds
To initiate a return within the 90-day trial period:
Accessories & consumables (liners, filters, OdorTrap packs, litter) can be returned unused and unopened within 30 days for a full refund. Litter bags are non-refundable.
Damaged or defective items: If your order arrives damaged or with a defect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund — no questions asked.

Every Litter-Robot comes with a 1-year WhiskerCare® warranty at no extra cost. This comprehensive plan covers accidental damage, power surges, mechanical breakdowns, and software support.
Extend your coverage to 3 years by adding WhiskerCare® Extended Warranty at checkout. During the warranty period, all repairs and replacements are handled free of charge, including shipping both ways. No deductibles. No hidden fees.

Yes, if your order hasn't shipped yet. Contact our support team as soon as possible and we'll update the address. Once the package is with the carrier, changes may not be possible.
Currently we ship to France, United Kingdom, Belgium, and Switzerland. We're working on expanding to additional European markets. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when we launch in your country.
As Switzerland is outside the EU customs union, import duties and VAT may be applied upon delivery. These are determined by Swiss customs authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We'll work with the carrier to investigate. If the package cannot be located, we'll send a replacement or issue a full refund at no extra cost.
Yes. Unused and unopened accessories can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Opened consumables and litter bags are non-refundable for hygiene reasons.
Once we receive and inspect the returned unit, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. The refund will appear on the same payment method used for the purchase. Bank processing times may vary.

Over 95% of cats acclimate to Litter-Robot*, and most begin using it within a few days to a week. (*Based on stated reasons for customer returns of Litter-Robot 4 and 3 over a one-year period). Litter-Robot 5 Pro features QuietSift® technology that minimizes noise during the cleaning cycle. The cleaning cycle won't begin until minutes after your cat has exited, and you can extend the delay up to 30 minutes for skittish cats.
To ease the transition, place Litter-Robot where the old litter box was and, for a short time, keep both nearby. Mixing a cup of used litter into the clean litter helps provide a familiar scent. You can also leave Litter-Robot turned off until your cat has tried it.
Litter-Robot 5 Pro is suitable for cats that weigh 3–30 lbs, including extra large breeds like Maine Coons or Norwegian Forest cats. With an entryway width of 15.75" and an interior height of 17.5", almost any domestic cat can fit comfortably inside the globe.
Yes. Kittens that weigh at least 3 lbs can safely use Litter-Robot 5 Pro in automatic mode. The unit uses multiple lasers and weight sensor technology to detect when your cat enters and exits the globe.
For kittens under 3 lbs, we recommend using Litter-Robot 5 Pro in "semi-automatic" mode: leave it powered off, wait about 7 minutes after use for the waste to clump, then power it on for a clean cycle. Continue this until your kittens reach 3 lbs.
Both models are designed for multi-cat homes, kittens as small as 3 lbs, and large cats up to 30 lbs. They are the same size and offer best-in-class technology, including WasteID™. Litter-Robot 5 Pro includes an integrated dual camera system for advanced cat identification and richer individual insights.
Because waste is promptly removed and contained in the base, typical litter box odors will be significantly reduced. Litter-Robot 5 Pro features WasteID™ for more targeted odor control, a sealed waste drawer, and a Carbon Filter to reduce odors. You can also combine the Carbon Filter with OdorTrap Packs to eliminate litter box odors through natural chemistry.

Yes. The AI is trained to detect and record pets—not people—so your privacy stays protected. However, the camera will record you if you are in the frame with your pet. You also have the option to turn off the camera or delete videos in the Whisker app.
Replace the Waste Drawer Liner whenever you empty the waste drawer. Thanks to the large waste drawer, you may only need to empty it as low as once every 10 days. For optimal odor absorption, we recommend replacing the Carbon Filter and OdorTrap® Packs every 2–4 weeks.
The best litter for Litter-Robot is clumping clay litter. We recommend a high-quality, standard-weight, clay-based clumping litter. Alternative, plant-based litters typically do not work as they may not be filtered properly through the sifting system. Non-clumping litters, newspaper-based litters, and absorbent wood pellet litters are not compatible.
Yes, Litter-Robot 5 Pro can be used on any type of flooring.

My older cat (12 years) was very suspicious of the Litter-Robot. It took a full 2 weeks with the machine turned off, treats, and used litter before she finally accepted it. Now she uses it fine. Product quality is excellent but patience is needed.
